Areas to Get involved:

Nursery (Birth to 24 months):

Demonstrate the love of Jesus with infants, crawlers and families.
We want to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our youngest in the family to experience Jesus and offer a place for parents to feel comfortable leaving their child.

What's Involved in Nursery:

Time Commitment:
90 minutes (20 minutes pre- service until all children are picked back up)

How often:
Once per month

Duties:
Care for infants in a fun and loving atmosphere, change diapers prior to parent pick-up, sterilize changing table after each use, be friendly to parents as they pick up and clean up toys and tidy room

Who would be a great fit in this ministry:
- Someone who loves holding infants or playing with crawlers.
- Someone who is passionate about blessing parents so they can enjoy corporate worship.
- Someone who enjoys creating a safe environment for infants to establish trust and experience Jesus.

Toddlers (2 and 3 year olds):

Demonstrate the love of Jesus with toddlers and families. We want to provide a safe and welcoming environment for our 2 and 3 year olds in the family to experience Jesus and learn from the Bible in fun and creative ways as they develop confidence. We want to help parents feel comfortable to participate in worship knowing their child is in good hands.

What's Involved in Toddlers:

90 minutes (20 minutes pre- service until all children are picked back up)

How often:
Once per month

Duties:
Care for toddlers in a fun and loving atmosphere, lead pre- planned lesson, do activities/crafts based on the lesson. Guide children to clean up room before parent pick- up. Welcome and share with parents as they pick- up children about the lesson the child learned and any take home papers the child may have.

Who would be a great fit for this ministry:
- Someone who loves playing with toddlers.
- Someone who enjoys teaching the Bible stories in an active and fun way.
- Someone who enjoys learning!
- Someone who enjoys seeing children feel loved, connected, developing confidence and enjoying their church experience.
- Someone who is passionate about blessing parents so they can enjoy corporate worship.

Preschool (4 years - Pre-K)

Demonstrate the love of Jesus with preschoolers in a save, fun and inviting environment. We want preschoolers to establish trust, develop confidence and cultivate self-control as they learn Bible truths and create relationships through play.

What's Involved in Preschool:

Time Commitment:
90 minutes (20 minutes pre- service until all children are picked back up)

How often:
Once per month

Duties:
Come prepared to teach and lead activities having read the pre-planned lesson.
Embrace preschoolers with patience and love, creating a space they feel safe and ready to learn. Guide children to clean up room before pick-up. Welcome and share with parents what the child learned and any needed information.

- Someone who enjoys cultivating a child's confidence and trust through consistency and repetition.
- Someone who enjoys teaching Bible stories, doing crafts and playing.
- Someone who enjoys seeing children learn and feel accepted and look forward to being part of their church family.
- Someone who is passionate about blessing parents so they can enjoy corporate worship.

Kidz Zone Sunday (K - 4th grade)

Demonstrate the love of Jesus to elementary age kids by creating a safe and fun environment for learning the Bible truths, creating friendships, developing relationships with leaders and knowing that God loves them and has created them for a purpose.

What's Involved with Kidz Zone Sunday:

Time Commitment:
90 minutes (20 minutes pre- service until all children are picked back up)

How often:
Once per month

Duties:
Lead Bible lesson and/or small group station activities.
Engage with the kids and help cultivate a safe and welcoming environment for learning God's word and building friendships. Communicate with parents at drop off and pick up.

- Someone who enjoys teaching Bible stories, doing crafts and playing.
- Someone who enjoys seeing children learn, feel accepted, and look forward to being a part of their church family.

Kidz Zone Wednesday (k-4th)

Demonstrate the love of Jesus to elementary age kids by creating a safe and fun environment for learning the Bible truths, creating friendships, developing relationships with leaders and knowing that God loves them and has created them for a purpose.

What's Involved in Kidz Zone Wednesdays:

Time Commitment:
2 hours on Wednesday plus time for reading lesson at home and connection.

How often:
Once per week

Duties:
Small group leader: Create a safe and fun environment for your small group to grow in their relationship with God, build friendships, learn the Bible, share with each other and be accepted by one another. To show up weekly and know your kids. Connecting throughout the month through mail, showing up at a game, etc.
Connecting with Parents at drop off or pick up, giving them information letting them know they can come to you for advice or concerns.

- Someone who enjoys cultivating a child’s confidence and trust through consistency and repetition.
-Someone who enjoys going deeper and having time with the same group of kids.
- Someone who enjoys reinforcing Bible truths, crafts and play.
- Someone who enjoys seeing children learn and feel accepted and growing as a part of their Church family.
- Someone who enjoys a small groups, conversation, giggles, openness and prayer.

Children's Check-In

Cheerfully extend a heartfelt greeting of welcome to everyone who needs to check-in children in fourth grade and below, providing an atmosphere of safety, while ensuring parents the peace of mind to grow their relationship with the Lord.

What's Involved in the Children's Check-in:
Time Commitment:
15 minutes preservice; 15 minutes into service

How often:
Once per month

Duties:
Greet everyone with a warm smile, provide each family with accurate name tags for each participating child, provide name tags in a timely manner, and show newcomers to proper room and introduce child to teacher

Who would be a great fit in this ministry?
- Someone who likes greeting new children and families.
- Someone who can type.
- Someone who is relational and likes helping people.
- Someone who is able to stand on their feet for 30 minutes at a time.
