We have our own notions, and we often attempt to mold Jesus into our own likeness. This “Jesus” likes what we like and hates what we hate. But what if we discover that our understanding of Jesus is skewed…lacking? Would we even recognize the real Jesus? Starting the second Sunday of October, we will begin a new series based on The Missing Messiah by Kyle Idleman and Mark Moore. We will take a closer look at what messiah truly means and the difference it might just make for how we live out our lives following him.

Be sure to pick up a book ($13) in the cafe Sunday, or order online via Amazon. If you don’t like to read but love to listen to books, the audio version is available for purchase, too. Each week, we’ll dive into one chapter, unpacking the implications of missing the messiah. After each week’s sermon, Care Groups will discuss the concepts further.

I want to invite you to join us each week during this series as we come to know and love Jesus more deeply.
