God has been blessing Bailey and we have seen a 36% rate of growth between 2022 and today. As God continues to bring people to Bailey, and we look at current space, our immediate need is in the children’s areas. Currently, our nursery and toddler areas are about 310 sq ft a piece, with only about 250 sq ft of useable space. The industry standard for square feet per child is 35-50 sq ft.
Our Sunday morning average for Toddlers is 11 (for first service) and we have seen a high of 14. This means that we should have 385-550 sq ft for the numbers we are currently seeing. And this number doesn’t include the adult volunteers that are in the rooms as well. We want to make sure that we have room to grow as God continues to bring people to Bailey.
Safety is a top priority. Currently, children from birth through 4th grade are spread across three separate floors on Sunday mornings. For parents with multiple children, this means navigating multiple locations, entrances, and exits—an arrangement that is not ideal for security or convenience.
By bringing all children into one centralized, secure space, we can:
Enhance safety for children and families.
Simplify drop-off and pick-up for parents.
Provide peace of mind and a more welcoming experience.
At BCC, one of our core goals is to minister to young families in our community. We want every visitor to immediately sense that our facilities reflect our mission and values—and hear the message loud and clear: “We are here for your family!”
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me” (Matthew 19:14), and Psalm 78:6 reminds us of our calling to pass the faith along “so the next generation would know.” With studies showing that 63–83% of decisions for Christ happen before age 14, we believe it is essential to focus our time, talents, and resources on this critical season of life.
BCC has long invested in children’s and youth ministers. Now, it’s time to match that commitment with a safe, effective, and welcoming space—one that helps us raise up the next generation of Kingdom Workers.

For over eight years, we’ve been praying, planning, and preparing to build a 10,000 sq ft children’s wing—a space designed to be safe, welcoming, and purpose-built for ministry to children and families.
This new wing will include:
Our vision is for this building to bless both our church family and the broader Bailey community—creating a space where more families can come to know Jesus.
Initial estimates for the children’s wing were $4.5 million. After consulting with builders over the past six months, we’ve refined that figure to approximately $3.2 million, without compromising quality.
We currently have over $600,000 in hand. After prayerful consideration, our leadership has set a goal of reaching $1.7 million before breaking ground.
While a loan could be initiated with less, we believe $1.5 million is the maximum debt we’re willing to carry—ensuring that our focus remains on ministry, not financial strain.
We’re committed to building wisely, without sacrificing the effectiveness of our current outreach.
Begin by seeking God’s guidance. Pray for the vision, the leadership, and how He might be calling you to be involved.
Commit to giving regularly—weekly, monthly, or quarterly—as an ongoing investment in the next generation.
