As we continue through our series, The Unseen War, I want to invite you to join us for the month of February in prayer and Bible reading. Two vital weapons we have in spiritual warfare are the Bible and prayer. Though prayer is not tied specifically to one of the pieces of armor, it is clearly included in what it takes to stand and be ready for the fight (Eph. 6:18). Each day in February, starting this Sunday, if you sign up, you will receive a prayer prompt and reminder to read a chapter in Matthew. Since Matthew has 28 chapters and February has 28 days, we will be able to cover the whole book of Matthew this month. As you join with others in the church family in prayer over specific topics, we believe God will move powerfully in our midst to do his will and help us win the fight, and we believe you will draw closer to Jesus in the process!
