Small groups are often viewed as merely a program or a fellowship ministry within a church. But for the New Testament church, it was a way of life. Their relationships with each other were critical to their pursuit of Jesus, their formation in Christ, and their ability to share the Kingdom of God with those around them. It would be impossible to experience biblical community apart from spiritually significant relationships with other believers. At Bailey, Small Groups aren't just another program we have; they are core to who we are.
There is one main reason we have for Small Groups: To make disciples. We believe discipleship is done best in the context of community and mission. Our Small Groups are not just another meeting. They are small communities of people who are on mission together. Small Groups meet on a weekly basis and are designed to disciple the whole person. We have sermon based discussions, bless our communities, pray for each other and develop deep friendships.
Small Groups are the key for your formation as a follower of Jesus here at Bailey. We invite you to take the next steps in your walk with Jesus and become part of a Small Group.
